They would be a great find, I was very lucky to come across 24 issues of Allen’s magazine on that auction site some years ago. Interesting to see the title of the Clifford magazine. I think there was also a Howard newsletter. These are all an area of literature that probably gets overlooked.
Welcome to the forum and thank you for the words of appreciation.
It might be worth contacting Hayter regarding numbers, they were very helpful when I made enquiries about a manual for a very early (1959/1960) Hayterette. They were also very pleased to know it was still working.
That is nice, always good to see some of the attachments for these machines. Looks like a couple of the photos need reloading as file size is too large.
Electrolytic corrosion where aluminium and steel is a major problem on things like Land Rover especially when salt is added. One problem painting aluminium is getting a clean surface, an etch primer is essential.
Mark, if you want to sell it send me the details (vhgmc@btinternet.com) and I can put an advert in the club magazine next issue mid Feb. I will also need your name, location (town & county) and a contact number.
Do you know which Albion gearbox it is? How many forward gears and does it have reverse? I have parts lists which give a bit of additional information about the gearboxes, HR, H, HJR and HJ, EJ, and AL.
