In the photo of your engine there is a small bracket on cowling near exhaust, if you look at photo of engine on my 15 you will see throttle cable is attached to this bracket. As far as I know the cable on my 15 is original, your cable looks different and may not be the correct one.

It appears you have a Flo-Jet two piece carb see illustration.

Right, just been to the shed to take a few photos, 009 is the set up on my Barford 30, 011 and 015 are how the 15 is arranged. Looking in the parts list it appears the linkage on my 30 is missing the correct end on the cable at the carb end, it should be the same as the one on the 15.

The new site does not currently have a calendar of events, the old site only listed some. All shows we are told about appear in The Cultivator magazine which is sent to all club members.
What area are you looking for shows?

As the magazine seems to have arrived with various members over a period of a week or so I have asked the printers if all are posted in one go. They confirm this is the case so any variation in delivery is due to Royal Mail not the printers.

I believe there are two versions of the 2 cylinder engine, looking at the literature I have for the type with a 360 degree crank and WICO type A 1483HZ magneto, the timing is 35 degree before top dead centre. Not sure if this would apply to other version with 180 degree crank.

If you look on the engine cowl you should find the engine type and number stamped in it, this will help identify exactly what engine you have as well as date of manufacture. I can then have a look and see if I have any information that could be of use to you.

Certainly not Monro Tiller, at over 2 cwt it does not need extra weight!!!!

That was a stroke of luck.

With suitable words in The Cultivator it will get to Scott as he receives a copy of The Cultivator, not sure if he reads it though. So come on a great opportunity to fill the letters page for Alan.

Thinking about T&M dropping the F&HE section I suppose it raises the question of continued VHGMC support of Tractor World show, what do you the members think?

Rick, welcome to the forum. You could start a topic in pedestrian machines or in the projects section.

As we always say it is only worth what someone is willing to pay, put it on e-bay and see what you get.

Kevin if you look back through The Cultivator I am sure George Holt had some plough points made, he is also listed on the reproduction parts suppliers list which was sent to members last year.

Good to see it running, don’t run for too long without the cowling as it will overheat.
