I’ve just got my entry form for Yesterday’s Farming Show, Manor Farm, Puckington, Somerset. TA19 9JA. Easy one for a motorcyclist, that hole is supposed to have the tickler in it, all Amal carb’s. have them. It’s a little spring loaded button, on cold starting you hold it down to flood the carb. I’ll scan a diagram….

I spotted a couple of lads pushing this Drake & Fletcher sprayer at Newark, they’d bought it in the bring & buy sale. They did offer it to me but with 5 Merry Tillers and Tarpen accessories to Take home I declined…..

Well she wouldn’t want to catch her dress in the blades,now, would she? This one from 1968 shows a likely lad with a Merry Tiller, probably dragged from an office and he don’t look too happy about it!

Hi Pete, The front mounting came later, I have used my rear mounted one for snow clearance and it works OK. Pictures show it in 2012 and 2013, last time we had snow worth clearing in Wiltshire!
