I tried, got up at 5am this morning, van started OK, no idiot lights, loaded dogs, food and camera, headed up the road. Just past Lyneham the engine cut and I coasted to a halt. I left home last night, got a couple of miles, the glow plug light was flashing, problem. I returned home and will try to sort it today. I’ll be there tomorrow even if I have to drive the car with no exhibits….

I’ve got a Wright plough, this one’s adapted for the Wolseley Merry Tiller. I have been assured that Wrights produced them like this. I would just like to find a brochure from around 1961 or later with a picture of it….

I’ve seen a lot of Jalos but never a Westo so I guess that they never changed the name on the casting. I’ve got a couple with the sticker on, as you say that would be easy to change…

I’ve got some Smallholder Magazines from 1960 and they’ve nearly all got a full page advert for a Westo push hoe. It’s clearly a Jalo, does anyone know where the Westo came in? I’ve attached the advert….
