Hi I think it is a Gower. I have one but have found that to use it the hopper has to have a lot of seed, probably the weight of the seed is important for efficient use.

Hello All, I was at North Notts Plowing Match yesterday and took a few pictures, no names as all were busy doing their stint. The day was sunny and dry, perfect conditions for plowing and over 100 entrants. The standard of horticultural plowing was very good and I would not have liked to have picked the winner.

Hi there, have only just read your post. The drive shafts on my 1996 F510 has drive shafts 22mm across the flats and they are available at £65 or thereabouts. Mine are very worn at the tips but have adapted some spadelug wheels and another pair of unknown steel wheels using a bored bar over the worn shafts. OK so far.

I dont know about the original post but this mower to me is only rare because they made them by modern methods and were classed as throwaway when made. A friend of mine has a mower that I would call rare. it is a 1922 atco, in pieces at the moment. The machine was purchased and solely owned by a lady authoress. The machine is original and needs an…[Read more]

Hi, Anyone know what is supposed to hold this wheel on this wheel on. The hole in the wheel is threaded(approx 10mm) and is directly opposite the key in the shaft. the cleaned up bore and shaft makes for an easy push on or pull off with nothing to hold it on. I do not have a manual or parts list See pictures
