No that is definetly a Swiss built machine. I am not aware of any parts supplier for these. Have you tried the SIMAR website and forum?

5713 does not look right for a machine made by Geo Monro, it could be a machine made by another maker. Can you check the makers plate or better still post a picture of it.
The manifold is prone to damage, either in use or when trying to remove the exhaust from the manifold, I dont think I have one in my stock of secondhand parts, the 35 is not so common as the 56 in the UK.

Simon, all details are printed in The Cultivator, the event is only open to paid up club members.

As far as I know they did not make it to the UK.

What parts are you looking for?
I have factory records for machines made by Geo Monro, if yours is one I can date it from the serial number 35????.

It is very difficult to estimate a value especially when machine is a non runner. Have you had a look at e bay to see what similar machines make on there, this is a good guide. Note photo file is too large and needs reducing to 3072KB or less, there is a guide on how to do this in the help and information section of the forum.

It looks like an Auto Culto, club member Jim Beacon is the expert on these. He has a facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/autoculto/ with loads of photos and information.

I put a thin bit of paper between points then feel for when points open by pulling gently on the paper, not 100% accurate but pretty close.

According to the book I have you should first set points gap 0.015″. Then set piston at 5/32″ before TDC, now align mark on flywheel with mark on backplate.
Whenever I time a Villiers engine I set piston to correct position then turn flywheel until points just start to open. I have never used the marks.
The tricky part is getting flywheel tight without disturbing timing.

You have a number of options, e bay, tractor magazines such as Tractor & Machinery or our own club magazine The Cultivator.
