Those rotors are perfectly serviceable , I use a vintage Honda f50 , and simply overlap the pass each time , that way you will cover all the ground. As Chris states , the outer discs are really “crop protection” discs.

Alan Newbould is really the man to answer this. It’s only my guess that a Brinley plough is the one. I have one for my Bolens 853 , and Wheelhorse also used Brinleys.

All centre drive rotavators have to miss a small strip in the middle , I use Hondas quite alot , and I simply overlap each pass , that way your’re covering all the land.

I’ve tried allsorts of bait on traps , but miles ahead of anything else is Peanut Butter. If you can find where they’re getting in , and that’s far from easy , spray creosote round the area , they will not go near it again , a trick I learnt from my Father , he prayed the perimeter of most of his crops with it and seldom had Rabbit problems.

The tool frame I’m sure is AutoCulto , ridger I would say home made , the plough body is very similar to a Colwood , not sure about the fitting though

I’ve never been convinced about all this “genuine” belt mullarkey , I remain convinced that all manufacturers source belts from specialised people , dab an ernormous mark up on them , put them in fancy packaging and rip people off.
Better off going to a reputable belt stockist and save a small fortune.Andy.

If you’re going down the new route be prepared for a shock , they’re in the region of £200 nowadays. Alternatively you could wait and source a secondhand one , but be careful they’re prone to butterfly wear giving erratic running and poor tickover. Whichever way you decide be sure to get one with the variable main jet, that way there will be no…[Read more]

That D7 is absolutely beautiful , a contractor in our village ran a fleet of Cats , I spent endless hours just watching him grubbing out trees in the 1960s , no track machine comes even close to a purring Cat.

Remember the first MK15s fitted to the Howard Bantam had the V508C carb fitted(later replaced by the S12) , so the carb you have is the correct type and fitment. Fortunately it is a very common carb , so spares are readily available.

It mentions a date of 1980 regarding their minitiller , they were producing rotavators at least 20yrs prior to that.
