I bought this Merry Tiller professional last year, it runs well and is in generally good condition but the non-standard wheels would not come off. I had to drive the pins out and I tried various things to get them off but to no avail. So I ran the machine with the pins out and gave them a good soak in GT85, it’s got PTFE in it. A good Horticultural turnout at Puckington, Ilminster, Somerset and in spite of the weather on Saturday (dire met. office warnings!). I had the car and trailer but drove into the field with no problem, dropped the trailer and set up camp next to Charlie. We spent the nights in our (separate!) tents. Friday night was noisy but the field stood up…[Read more]

You can advertise it in the Cultivator, use the form under Contacts and it will get to me, I’ll put it in the October edition. It’s free and you or the owner doesn’t need to be a member. I wonder if our nice Mr. Wallingfield would be interested, he collects mowers? 🙂
