A friend recently showed me this unusual hand tool and asked if I had any idea what it was for.
I personally have no idea so though I would share and see if anyone else could identify it.

It looks like it could be a Leyland steam lawnmower.

I have recently acquired a rather large tarpen generator set. In fact it is quite a bit larger than it looked in the photos before I bought it. It has a 3kw generator manufactured by cromptons of Chelmsford and the engine is by french manufacturer bernard.

Id be interested. Were these put on all the plough headstocks or just the ones sold with the greyhound plough?
