I am afraid that I am a bit oldschool when it comes
to this compooter thingy. Roberts and my subs are in
the post with a cheque.
Happy new year.

Thanks for the machine number. Your contact details would be handy for the
records. I will keep them safe and not disclose them.

Trustymad may have a few photos on his phone camera. I will
ask him to post any that he has got. I was at the farm today
lifting the last of the potatoes with a Massey 135 and
single row lifter. Not horticultural style but we cleared
the field and returned the site to farm land ready for
next year. -

Thanks Sandi. Your David Bailey photo shoot is as always top notch.
I have ordered some good weather for next year. Hopefully those
upstairs are in a good mood and will grant our wishes.
13th and 14th September 2019. Weeley working weekend. -

Thanks for the comments. The short video clips do not do the Simar
serenade justice. If you were on the field it was deafening. I
bet if you had have been in Clacton or Colchester you would
have heard the racket. It was a great weekend. Se the full report
and all the photos in the October edition of the Cultivator. -

Robert and I went to the farm at Weeley this morning. The playpen field looks in tip top
condition. Chris has topped the field and rolled it for us. The potato plot looks good
spuds ready to be lifted so bring your lifting gear along.
The camping field grass is cut and all is ready for a good weekend. All we need now
is two sunny days next…[Read more] -

Yes please Chris. I have never used the spud lifting
gear on the Ransomes so I am on a sharp learning curve.
The more the merrier.
See you there. -

A quick update on the Weeley weekend.
The potatoes are looking good. The field is being prepared by Chris with his big
tractor and is in prime condition. We have two good men booked as judges for the
ploughing match on the Saturday morning. Hon club chairman and Bob Cragie.
The Simar serenade is being managed by club President Charlie Moore .

Well done to Peter and the team for putting on a good
show. As always lots to see and a very large horticultural
working area with a range of machines all working and the
owners having fun. See you all at Weeley. -

Running or not please bring it to Weeley.
I have just acquired a Simar 35 which is seized, but running or
not it will be going to the party.
See you at Weeley.

Hi all. I called in at the farm at Weeley this morning and all the spuds are up and looking good.
A few weeds but I am sure that Robert and the Trusty will soon be there and will be having a weed out.
Or maybe a hand hoe job.
Also the track for the Weeley wander has been extended a bit to include the fishing lakes and
the orchard below the…[Read more] -

Probably cast iron wheels and mild steel stub axles therefor no
lubrication was needed. If you had of oiled them the dirt and dust would have got
in to the hub and would have turned into grinding paste.
Let them run dry and rattle a bit.
