charlieKeymasterYou should have had a copy, I will send another in the post with renewal form. Let me know if the other turns up, it will be in a clear plastic envelope with club logo on front.

charlieKeymasterI see where there is confusion now. We need to reword that page as it is referring to forum membership (subscription) not actual club membership.

charlieKeymasterOne question.
Did you all have a renewal form with your copy of The Cultivator? The exception will be new members that have joined since 1st Sept.November 19, 2013 at 5:12 pm #3221
charlieKeymasterI too have the advantage of driving a 4×4 (1957 Land Rover) so a good snow fall is great as it keeps all the cars off the road.

charlieKeymasterI would say between 1935 and 1938. When I get a spare moment I will check if I have a spare (secondhand) barrel and piston, dont think I have a mag though. Think it should be a Lucas mag.

charlieKeymasterThe truth is they cannot forecast snow with any accuracy more than 1 or 2 days ahead. So all this annual hype in the press ‘worst winter for decades’ etc is just that.
When they say bad winter it all depends on your own perspective, to me the last few winters have been better to good, ie we have had some snow. A nice change after years of bad winters, ie no snow. My fault for living in sunny Somerset I suppose.November 17, 2013 at 3:05 pm #3137

charlieKeymasterVery nice and original. If the records are correct your machine is one of 1128 made between 24/2/32 and 8/3/40

charlieKeymasterYes you will need RTA insurance on the rally field, you will not need to register or tax the MG5, insurance will be against machine serial number rather than registration number. A number of insurance companies can provide suitable cover approx £30-£40 a year will also cover for theft as well in most cases. I used the NFU when I had an MG2. If the insurance company tells you it needs to be registered try somewhere else as they obviously do not know what they are talking about.
