Your Monro Tiller is a series 3 machine, s/n 832442 was despatched August 1958 and delivered on 11th Feb 1959 to W F Tarrant, Avalon, Wolverley, nr Kidderminster, see attached extract from factory records.

You can find a copy of the engine manual here I had a quick look and it does not say how to remove flywheel, but the exploded diagram in the parts list may help. The nut holding flywheel on could be a left hand thread.

Another possible source is online supplier Simply Bearings they also sell drive belts. I have used them for bearings and seals and found them to provide a good service.

For hoeing between rows you would need to use a push hoe like the Jalo or similar.

They were used to take out unwanted plants (thinning) in a row eg sugarbeet, to create gaps and correct spacing.

Have you had a close look to see if bearings have any numbers on them?
Are you measuring in imperial or metric? Simply Bearings have a good website.

Have a look at S T Bishop they are near Bristol. I found then by doing a simple google search.
