strutchr, you are in the right place, as trusty220 has said I am the man with the Monro information. I have sent you a pm. I have owners manual including parts list for machine and engine. Look after those tyres as they are an obsolete size and no longer available.

If the manufacturer cannot supply a date I would guess it is unlikely anyone else can. One possibility is if parts changed over time, if so the parts list may give some indication of date and at what serial number change was made. Have you tried contacting your local Kubota dealer?

It certainly looks like a Tracgrip see https://staging.vhgmc.co.uk/photo-galleries/trac-grip-trucks/ for a couple more photos.
Registering it for road use will involve filling in various forms and supplying information such as date of manufacture etc to the DVLA. Have a look at their website for full details. -

John, the ‘cooking pot’ on top of fuel tank is an oil bath air filter. Additional air filtering is provided by oil soaked wood shavings (the long thin ones used as packing material) in the inlet tube.
