what does this seeder fit?

Well, here is a seeder that I picked up from a car boot sale, It is one of three, all identical, it has a logo on the lid of MG ltd. made in Birmingham with patent no 593541, looking at the stout upright bars and screw fittings, am I right in thinking this would have been fitted to the tool frame of a Two wheel tractor, like a trusty or similar?

I don’t know If the M & G seeder was fitted to other machines like the Planet, Whitwood and others were, the book only shows them with handles…

I’ve got parts of one as well….

It is interesting, I have not owned a seeder before, and I have only seen the hand pushed variety, this one I am sure was designed to fit a machine, I saw a Trusty catalogue, and that showed seeders fitted to the tool bar, have you heard of MG or GM? of Birmingham? Regards
